"This is the best restaurant I've been to in a very long time. The food was amazing: cooked to perfection, wonderful flavors, truly great bread that they make there. Service was friendly, warm, and consistent. And to find a top of the line restaurant like this in a small town--WHAT A GIFT!"

"We were here for a Valentine's dinner experience with our granddaughter last evening. This is a WONDERFUL restaurant! The food was outstanding, including freshly baked bread and the exquisite dishes with perfectly prepared tuna, teriyaki chicken, and fresh salads, and delicious appetizers and drinks. Staff was just perfect: friendly and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere. We drove thirty minutes to go there, but truthfully, it would have been worth even a longer drive!!"

"I brought my fiancé’ here on a date and since I made a reservation once we arrived they had our name written on our table by the window. First impressions were as follows , warm styling with dim lighting but not too dark and very warm temperature, wise and cozy so my fiancé didn’t get cold at all which was another big plus. The menu is well laid out and after we got some drinks and an appetizer our food came out after a bit and the food did not disappoint. The triple layer chocolate cake was made by the young lady who served us, she was spectacular and made us feel at home. What an incredible place, we will be back in the future!"

"This was one of the best cooked meals I’ve eaten anywhere. The food was cooked to perfection. We ordered the mushroom and black garlic crostini and the wood fired walleye and the pork chop. Every bite was sublime. I want to go back and try every item on the menu. This is a destination restaurant."

"A cozy little place tucked up into a quaint downtown. Food was spectacular, but don't expect to get off easy as the prices are a bit steep. Still, if you like good food and price is not an option ... this is the place to go! Can't recommend the bruschetta as an appetizer enough!"

"What an absolutely incredible dining experience! To have a place like this in our rural area is amazing. The first impression walking through the door was the cozy, romantic aesthetic, the jazz style music in the backyard, the aroma for the wood fired grill, the welcoming from the staff; the entire ambiance blew me away! No small detail was left out from the hand written reservation name plates to the folded fabric napkins. The cocktails, the appetizers, the main course meal…100 Stars is what this place deserves! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone I know!"

"This is a quaint, welcoming family-owned restaurant with a top-notch menu and excellent servers. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find our names on a little chalkboard sign reserving our table with a sweet “Happy Anniversary” wish. The drink selection was impressive (including n/a options) and the food was delicious. We shared the Scarpetta (warm ciabatta loaf with 3 dipping selections) and loved it! I also enjoyed my Seasonal Ravioli, which was butternut squash. We could see the chef working diligently at the wood-fired stove, and every meal is meticulously prepared to look and taste amazing. Highly recommend."

"My friend brought me here for my birthday dinner and it was amazing!!! The restaurant itself reminds me of days gone by where people could sit and enjoy one another’s company without distractions. The menu has so many delicious options that we had a hard time choosing something. We picked the brussel sprouts, spinach salad, and French onion soup as starters. It may have been the best French onion soup I’ve ever had! For our entrees, I had the walleye while my friend had the swordfish special. The meals were wonderful! We couldn’t leave without trying dessert - crème brûlée and s’mores! Come prepared to take time to enjoy your meal - if you want fast service and food to come quickly, this is not the restaurant. The pride they take in their restaurant and the food shows! I will be back again."
